    Paul Kari

    President & Cheif Executive Officer
    ASRC Construction

    Paul has been a valued member of the ASRC Construction family for over 20 years, rising from a project engineer in the field to his current role leading the company. His deep understanding of the company’s past and future is shaped by hands-on experience across Alaska. Growing up in a commercial fishing family and traveling the state, Paul gained firsthand insight into the unique challenges and opportunities of construction in Alaska. Outside of work, he enjoys biking and skiing, embracing the outdoors with his active family.

    Shawn Barrows

    Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration
    ASRC Construction

    With over 30 years in the construction industry, Shawn specializes in federal contracting and socio-economic programs. She oversees corporate accounting, financial planning, reporting, compliance, and administration. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and an MBA and a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she is passionate about mentoring other professionals and supporting their career growth.

    Originally from Juneau, Alaska, Shawn enjoys reading, beading, and walking her seven “empty nest” dogs. She and her husband have four adult children and five grandchildren.

    Tamara Young

    Director of Pre-Construction
    ASRC Construction

    With over 25 years of construction leadership experience, Tamara specializes in managing large-scale projects in remote Alaska locations. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has held roles ranging from construction engineer to general manager during her more than 27 years with the company.

    Tamara’s leadership fosters collaboration and accountability to drive project success. Her expertise spans construction manager, general contractor, design-bid-build, and design-build delivery methods and managing projects with multiple funding sources. She has a deep understanding of the unique challenges of construction in remote areas, including logistics and material procurement for sites without road access. Based in Anchorage, she travels frequently to oversee projects and scout future job sites, always seeking innovative ways to improve processes and deliver value to clients.

    Kirk Fisher

    Director of Health, Safety & Environment
    ASRC Construction

    With nearly 30 years of leadership in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs, Kirk has overseen high-performing teams and managed programs across multiple industries, including federal contracting, oil and gas, environmental services and compliance, and telecommunications. He has played a key role in developing successful safety programs for large firms and Alaska Native corporations.

    Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Master of Public Health in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Oregon State University. His expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and workplace safety ensures ASRC Construction upholds the highest industry standards and a strong safety culture.

    Christian Colman

    General Manager
    ASRC Builders

    As general manager of ASRC Builders, Christian provides strategic and operational leadership, empowering his team to deliver high-quality results while driving efficiency and business growth. His previous experience includes leading capital investments in energy and water infrastructure, as well as over 15 years with leading construction firms in roles that ranged from field engineer to senior project manager.

    Christian holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Gies College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Brigham Young University. He has also completed coursework at Nanjing University and the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.

    Patrick McAnnally

    General Manager
    ASRC Prime Constructors

    Since joining ASRC Construction in 2012, Pat has held various roles supporting federal construction and modernization projects, with a focus on mission critical Department of Defense facilities. As general manager of ASRC Prime Constructors, he leads business development efforts and oversees teams delivering technically complex projects. A lifelong Alaskan, Pat is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending time in the mountains near his home.

    Brice Conklin

    General Manager
    ASRC Earthworks

    Brice serves as general manager for the civil construction division, overseeing the operations and performance of ASRC Earthworks. With a focus on heavy civil construction in remote locations along the West Coast and the Alaska highway system, he ensures efficient execution and project success.

    Brice joined ASRC Construction in 2010 as a project engineer for SKW Eskimos (now part of ASRC Builders) and has since held roles of increasing responsibility, including estimator, project manager, and operations manager. He has extensive experience in managing projects in Western Alaska, skillfully navigating the logistical and environmental challenges of remote construction.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Construction from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Harvard University.

    Anthony Esping

    General Manager
    Builders Choice

    Anthony proudly serves as general manager of Builders Choice, bringing over 20 years of experience in wholesale distribution. He is passionate about cultivating a strong team environment and delivering exceptional service to customers. Since moving to Alaska from Oregon in 2006, he has embraced the state as home and takes pride in contributing to the growth of local communities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, biking, and skiing.
