In the first phase of a long-term transportation upgrade, our team resurfaced city roads throughout Point Hope to improve drivability and safety. The project delivered durable, community-enhancing infrastructure suited to Arctic wear and tear.

• Reclaimed and resurfaced 4.5 miles of city streets, featuring a 21-foot-wide roadbed, 2-inch-thick asphalt, and a 2% crown.
• Placed 6,135 tons of asphalt to improve long-term stability and performance.
• Paved 170 driveways and business access points.
• Graded and compacted gravel roads to enhance durability.
• Executed work during the short construction window of Arctic summer.
